Beyond custom dashboards, Circlevine provides several built-in financial reports.
Category Summary
Navigate to Reporting → Category Summary for a breakdown of income and expenses by category.
- Shows total inflow and outflow for each category
- Visualised as a bar chart
- Filter by date range and account
- Export as CSV or PDF
Category Summary (by Tag)
A variant that breaks down each category further by its associated tags. Useful for cross-referencing categories with tags.
Category Summary (by Member)
Shows how much each member has contributed or been charged within each category. Ideal for reviewing individual member activity across financial categories.
Monthly Summary
Navigate to Reporting → Monthly Summary for a month-by-month financial overview.
- Shows total income, expenses, and net position for each month
- Compare months side by side
- Export as PDF for board reports
Analytics
Navigate to Reporting → Analytics for a line chart showing daily closing balances per account over time. This gives you a visual representation of your cash flow trends.
Custom Report Requests
If you need a report that is not available in the standard options, use Reporting → Custom Reporting to submit a free-text description of what you need. The Circlevine team will review your request and work on adding it.
